FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Cube Jump Online?

Cube Jump Online is a browser arcade game about timing left and right jumps across floating steps. The goal is to stay on the route, survive as the pace increases, and improve your score through practice. The game can be played solo or in online rooms with friends.

Do I need an account?

No account is required to start playing in the browser. Local preferences such as language, selected style, and best score can be stored on your device or browser. Online rooms use temporary session information so players can join and reconnect during a room session.

How do the controls work?

On touch screens, tap the left or right side of the screen to jump in that direction. On desktop, use the available browser controls supported by the game. The exact goal is always the same: choose the next safe direction and keep rhythm as the run becomes more demanding.

What are online rooms?

Online rooms are temporary multiplayer sessions. One player creates a room code and shares it with friends. Other players enter the code to join. The room can start when the group is ready, and players can compare progress during the run.

What are checkpoints?

Checkpoints mark useful progress in a run. They help players practice later sections instead of only repeating the beginning. A checkpoint does not remove the need for skill: after continuing, the player still has to make clean jumps and read the path.

What are cubes used for?

Cubes are in-game progress rewards. They can support choices such as checkpoint continuation or unlocking cosmetic visual options, depending on the current state of the game. Cubes do not have real-world value and are only part of the in-game progression loop.

Are effects gameplay advantages?

No. Cube skins and background effects are cosmetic. They change the visual style of the game but do not replace timing, route awareness, or practice.

Are web ads enabled?

Browser web AdSense may load on normal content pages such as the guide, FAQ, privacy, terms, and contact pages after the site is eligible. The main game canvas is treated differently so ads are not inserted into gameplay controls, room screens, or other app-like surfaces. The Android app blocks browser web ad scripts and handles optional rewarded ads through the native app with Google AdMob.

Why are there separate information pages?

Cube Jump Online is a playable browser game, but players and search engines still need clear written pages that explain what the game is, how it works, how online rooms behave, and how to contact the developer. These pages make the site easier to review, easier to navigate, and more transparent for people who want to understand the game before playing.

Does Cube Jump Online use cookies or local storage?

Cube Jump Online may use local storage for gameplay preferences and temporary session data. The privacy page explains this in more detail.

How can I report a problem?

For gameplay issues, online room problems, privacy requests, or general feedback, contact the developer at cubejump.app@gmail.com. Include your device, browser, game mode, and a short description of what happened.

Why does performance matter?

Cube Jump depends on timing, so a stable frame rate can make the game feel easier to read. If animation feels uneven, open settings and try a different performance preset. A lighter preset may help older phones, tablets, or laptops keep a steadier rhythm.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes. Cube Jump is designed for browser play on phones, tablets, and desktop screens. On mobile, the main input is tapping the left or right side of the screen. For the best experience, use a modern browser and a stable connection when joining online rooms.
